I thought it would be cool to have a photo challenge. Where you would email me your submission.

Rules:

You must have taken the pictures
Must employ a degree of Stereoscopicness
Submit it!

Directions:

Take two pictures of the same subject at slightly different angles
Use photoshop or gimp to make an ANIMATED GIF
Save it and email it

Some Yummy Bagels I made! DIY

I made some nice bagels last night!

Dough: 4 Cups flour, 2 Cups Water, 1 Tsp Salt, 2 Tbsp Yeast, 2 Tbsp Sugar, 2 Tsp Oil (Veg).
Make into 8 equal balls.
Rest/Rise
Make into Bagel shapes. (2 inch holes)
Rest/Rise
Boiled for a minute on both sides in Caramel water (Burned sugar + water).
Add topping. I used salt and basil. but, onions or poppys or whatever would work too.
Cooked at 425 for 10 min on both sides.
Cool, 10 min.
EAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT with friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the video our church (Redemption Hill) put out for our small groups to get together and watch last Sunday. So, instead of meeting as a big group, we met in small groups all over the city and watched and talked about this sermon.

jQuery: Check All of the Checkboxes

This will check all of the checkboxes inside of an element (div,span,table) with a class of outerClassName

$(".outerClassName :checkbox").attr('checked', true);

Tip: you must have the jQuery library referenced before using this line of code.

Screw You Rain and Cold

I decided the best way to say “shut it” to the rain and cold was to run with winter gloves on.

Ended up not needing them. The run was nice. 2 or 3 miles.

WordTwitt is the best Wordpress Twitter App

My friend Dallas Edwards showed me this application called WordTwitt. It’s basically the bomb explosive when it comes to tweeting your blog posts.

All the other plugins seem to suck in comparison to this open source, free, magical piece of code.

I suggest everyone with wordpress install the plugin immediately, or face unending torment.

Override the window.onload javascript function

1. Creates a blank function
2. Checks onload for a function.
2a. Sets the originial onload function as temp
3. calls the new function initMap() before the originial temp onload function.

Pretty cool!
