Some Yummy Bagels I made! DIY

I made some nice bagels last night!

Dough: 4 Cups flour, 2 Cups Water, 1 Tsp Salt, 2 Tbsp Yeast, 2 Tbsp Sugar, 2 Tsp Oil (Veg).
Make into 8 equal balls.
Rest/Rise
Make into Bagel shapes. (2 inch holes)
Rest/Rise
Boiled for a minute on both sides in Caramel water (Burned sugar + water).
Add topping. I used salt and basil. but, onions or poppys or whatever would work too.
Cooked at 425 for 10 min on both sides.
Cool, 10 min.
EAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT with friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used Google Reader to mash two image rss feeds together for Hubble.

HOWTO: Setup an Aggregated RSS feed for your Friends using Google Reader

Lets say you have three friends, and you don’t really want to check all of there twitter, blogs, rss feeds all day long.

RSS Feeds:

http://rss.slashdot.org/Slashdot/slashdot

What you do is open Google Reader (Part of a Google account.)
Add all of the feeds to it by selecting “Add a Subscription”

Go into the “Manage Subscriptions” page (link in lower left)
Now, click “Add to Folder” and Create New Folder for the item

Now add the rest of the feeds to that folder in the same fashion.
Now to refresh, Click “« Back to Google Reader” then “Manage Subscriptions”
Goto the “Folders and Tags” Tab (near Manage Subscriptions)
Select your new folder, and select Public from the “Change Sharing…” drop down list.

You should now have “View Public Page” button.
That page contains a nice looking aggregate HTML view and a rss feed related to the page that you can add to any feed reader.

Wiki Based Directory of Online Free TV Shows

I really wanted to make a exhaustive list of TV shows that networks like NBC, ABC, CBS, Comedy Central and more have listed for free on their website.

Some of these shows have full catalogs and some have just the current season or clips.

I would love to have people contribute and add to the listing.

I have it hosted here on Zoho. It’s basically an open source version of Google docs plus tons of other features.

The parabolic Asian cooking(dumpling) strainer
is the perfect candidate for this project.

I was able to pick up 20 more access points
in the city and connect to a network a few blocks away!

This is BY-FAR the most simple of all Wifi extensions!
